Our Commitment

SmartEye.AI LTD recognizes accessibility as an inseparable part of equal treatment and human dignity. We work to ensure that our website is usable by people with a wide range of abilities — visual, motor, cognitive, and auditory — and continuously improve our compliance with the Israeli accessibility standard (IS-5568) and the international Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, Level AA.

This statement describes the accessibility level of this site, the methods used to achieve it, and the channels available to report any accessibility issue.

Standards Applied

This website is built to align with:

• Israeli Standard 5568 — "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines," at minimum Level AA conformance.
• WCAG 2.0 Level AA — W3C international web accessibility guidelines.
• Accessibility Regulations — Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adaptations), 5773-2013.

Accessibility Features Built Into This Site

An accessibility menu, accessible from every page via the dedicated floating button (bottom-left corner), provides the following adjustable features:

Beyond the menu, the site implements the following structural accessibility features:

• Keyboard navigation: Full operability via Tab/Shift+Tab, Enter, and Esc keys. Skip-to-main-content link is the first focusable element on every page.
• Visible focus indicators: All interactive elements display a high-contrast outline when focused via keyboard.
• Semantic HTML & ARIA: Proper heading hierarchy, landmark roles, and ARIA labels for screen-reader users.
• Color contrast: Text-to-background contrast ratios meet or exceed WCAG AA (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text).
• Responsive design: The site adapts to all screen sizes from 320px upwards, including users at 200% browser zoom.
• Reduced-motion support: Respects the operating system's prefers-reduced-motion preference.
• Alternative text: Decorative graphics are marked aria-hidden; informational images carry meaningful alt text.
• Persistence: Accessibility preferences are stored locally so they remain active across visits and pages.

Compatibility with Assistive Technologies

The site is designed and tested for use with recent versions of common assistive technologies, including but not limited to:

• NVDA and JAWS screen readers (Windows)
• VoiceOver (macOS, iOS)
• TalkBack (Android)
• Keyboard-only navigation, switch devices, and on-screen keyboards
• Browser-level zoom and reading modes

Recommended browser versions: latest two releases of Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari.

Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, certain elements may not yet be fully accessible:

• Decorative cinematic motion. The site uses ambient scanlines and animated HUD overlays for branding purposes. These are entirely decorative and can be disabled via the "Stop animations" toggle in the accessibility menu.
• Stylized typography. Display headings use the "Space Grotesk" font in light weights. Users requiring higher legibility can activate the "Readable font" toggle to swap to a standard sans-serif.
• External resources. Fonts loaded from Google Fonts and third-party assets are outside our direct control, though they are selected to support modern accessibility standards.

We treat such limitations as gaps to close and prioritize them in our ongoing accessibility roadmap.

Testing & Continuous Improvement

Accessibility is evaluated through a combination of:

• Automated audits using industry-standard tooling (Lighthouse, axe-core, WAVE).
• Manual keyboard-only navigation reviews.
• Periodic screen-reader audits.
• User-feedback channels (accessibility complaints reviewed within 5 business days).

Every reported issue is logged, classified by severity, and resolved according to a documented remediation schedule.

Designated Accessibility Coordinator

As required under the Israeli Accessibility Regulations, SmartEye.AI has designated an Accessibility Coordinator responsible for managing accessibility compliance, handling complaints, and serving as the official point of contact for accessibility-related matters.

How to Report an Accessibility Issue

If you encounter any accessibility barrier on this site — content you cannot perceive, controls you cannot operate, or assistive-technology incompatibility — please contact the Accessibility Coordinator with:

• A description of the issue and the page where it occurred.
• The browser and assistive technology in use, if relevant.
• Your preferred method of receiving a reply (email recommended).

We commit to acknowledging receipt within 2 business days, providing a meaningful initial response within 5 business days, and either remediating the issue or providing an accessible alternative within a reasonable timeframe based on its complexity.

This Accessibility Statement is reviewed and updated periodically to reflect ongoing accessibility improvements, changes in our website, and updates to applicable legal standards. The "Effective" date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision.
